Family and Couples TherapyFamily and couples therapy is an approach that helps people understand how they relate to others in intimate relationships and fosters change and development of relationship skills.
Treatment ApproachMy approach to therapy is straight forward and personable. I see symptoms or life problems as the mind’s “wake-up call” signaling the need for change and growth. I enjoy working with people to help maximize their strengths and meet their goals. My thirty years of varied practice experience enable me to understand most problems and work expeditiously to help you solve them. I work well with individuals or couples who are experiencing problems with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, stress, relationship problems, phobias or addictions. I offer evening hours. I use cognitive/behavioral, psychodynamic approaches and family/couples therapy but I’m also comfortable using other approaches to augment these. I work together with you to help you understand your symptoms better and to make appropriate changes for symptom relief and personal growth.
