Eve Lievonen, PhD, LCSW, holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology from Northcentral University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan. Dr. Lievonen is licensed in California to do psychotherapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Over the past 30 years, Dr. Lievonen has worked in a variety of clinical treatment settings in Michigan, Texas and in California. These treatment settings have included inpatient psychiatric treatment programs, substance abuse/chemical dependency treatment programs, and outpatient treatment programs.

Dr. Lievonen specializes in working with teens and adults who are experiencing problems with anxiety, panic, depression, eating disorders, anger, grief, addictions and compulsive behaviors. She also has in depth training and experience working with individual relationship problems and with couples. In addition, Eve has worked as a consultant for eating disorder treatment programs.

Currently in private practice, Dr. Lievonen brings her vast clinical treatment experience to treat individuals, couples and families in Laguna Niguel and Newport Beach and the surrounding communities.
